GIS Data Coordinator

GIS Data Coordinator, must be able to use ArcGIS, start ASAP. £12.23 per hour, based in St Mellons, Cardiff.

Your new role
We are looking for an experienced Data Entry/GIS Support Administrator for an immediate start.

The successful candidate must have previous office administration experience together with a good technical knowledge of GIS applications.

Based in St Mellons you will be required to provide support to the European Site Monitoring Team and duties will include:-

- Accurate entry of existing monitoring data onto Excel spreadsheets
- Digitising mapping data and sample points using GIS application (ArcMap)
- Providing support to designated sites as required

What you'll need to succeed
Advanced knowledge of GIS and Excel is essential together with excellent written and verbal communications skills and fast and accurate data entry skills.

An Environmental degree or equivalent would be an advantage.

The opportunity to work for one of Wales' leading organisations in a key department and team. This role is to start ASAP and is expected to last around 8 months with a possible extension. 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
