Our client, with offices across the EMEA region, is a world leading online education and training company.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To join their international legal department, they wish to recruit a German speaking Lawyer. Your role will cover legal issues in both the UK and Germany and will include the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, amending and negotiating commercial contracts for the UK and Germany
  • Implementing new company legal policies and procedures
  • Researching and advising on legal business compliance to ensure requirements in international expansion in Germany are met
  • Being the point of contact for the business where any legal questions and issues arise
  • Travel will be required

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE / SKILLS

  • Fluency in German and English is essential
  • Educated to university level in law from Germany
  • Experience of commercial / contractual law in both Germany and the UK is essential
  • Experience working in-house either in practice or in industry
