Comprehensive training will be provided alongside a unique opportunity to work with our in - house Opticians and Optical Consultants.This is a versatile role in which you will assist customers with contact lens order related enquires, and provide advice to by telephone, email and Live Chat. Whether you have prior experience in the optical industry or want to develop new skills and knowledge, Lenstore may have the position for you.Founded in 2008, Lenstore is an innovative and fast growing online retailer of contact lenses based in South London.As of November 2013 Lenstore is working closely with Vision Express to shape the future of optical retail. Our "bricks & clicks" model, combining Lenstore’s online offer and Vision Express’s store proposition, will be the first of its kind in the UK.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serving customers through all Lenstore’s websites
  • Resolving issues with customer orders via telephone and email
  • Assisting customers who collect their orders at Lenstore’s premises
  • Assisting with customer queries relating to contact lenses and prescriptions
  • Advising customers on contact lenses, solutions and accessories
  • Making outbound calls to customers, to enquire about the comfort and fit of their lenses
  • Assisting with the management of our social media sites
  • Ad-hoc administrative duties

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year customer service or retail experience
  • Native German speaker
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Dedication to customer satisfaction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner
  • Sound numeracy skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Meticulous record keeping ability
  • Proficient use of MS Outlook (or other email software)
