Salary: £34,000

Are you a geotechnical engineer looking for a new opportunity in Edinburgh?

An exciting new role has opened in Edinburgh for a geotechnical engineer to work alongside a talented ground investigation team.

You will have the chance to work for a specialised environmental consultancy who work on a range of exciting new projects across the UK. With large coverage across the central belt you will be exposed to exciting infrastructure and commercial projects. You will be working alongside chartered engineers carrying out a range of responsibilities.

The successful geotechnical engineer will have the chance to work on interpretative reports, phase 1 desk studies, soil, and ground water sampling, DQRA's, supervising on site, liaising with clients and much more!

This is a great opportunity for a geotechnical engineer to progress into a senior geotechnical engineer as there are lots of internal opportunities available. As well as learning from the best you will also get the chance to contribute to the growth of junior engineers.

Essential Criteria:

  • Must hold a geology or earth science degree
  • Must have factual report writing experience
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence
  • Must live within a commutable distance from the Edinburgh office
