As a Geography Teaching Assistant you should be a bright and intelligent Humanities graduate who has already held a school-based position and a strong academic record with a 2:2 or above in their chosen discipline. We want to meet graduates who can demonstrate their enthusiasm for education and inspire their pupils to achieve.

In this Geography Teaching Assistant position, you will be working within the supportive Humanities Department and your role will include working on lesson plans with the class teacher designed to stimulate organic discussion and intellectual curiosity.

Your responsibilities will include leading some after school clubs enjoyed by many pupils to provide you with a fantastic school experience. A large part of your timetable will be leading small groups of pupils in booster classes to give them extra confidence with the curriculum and this will be a great opportunity to show the staff how creative you can be!
