Geography teacher – Darlington

Are you an experienced Geography Teacher or NQT looking for a new role in March? Can you teach Geography from KS3-KS4? If so, we want to hear from you! 

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Geography Teacher to fill an open vacancy at our client secondary school based in Darlington. The successful candidate will be available from the middle of March and be able to teach Geography from KS3-KS4. The curriculum will be AQA and it is desirable that you have taught off this curriculum however not essential. This position will require you to support GCSE students through their coursework and exams as well as supporting with educational trips. As this is an open vacancy, the position will be on-going with the opportunity to secure a permanent post.

With the new academic year approaching and an open vacancy at our client's secondary school, the Head teacher is looking for an experienced Geography Teacher to join their high performing Geography department.

The successful Geography Teacher will;

  • Have experience working within a Geography department and a track record of achieving high grades
  • Be able to produce fun and interactive lesson plans to engage all your students
  • Have a passion for Geography, wanting to inspire all your students pursue a career in Geography
  • Be able to commit to a full time Geography Teaching role

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
