Geography Teacher Specification

Geography Teacher: We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Geography Teacher. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching and have the ability to pass this on to their students. This is a full time Secondary school teaching position starting in October 2018.

This school is a successful non-selective comprehensive school which converted to Academy Status to form an innovative Multi Academy Trust. It has an excellent reputation in the local community and is consequently heavily oversubscribed, with over 900 applications received in 2014 for the 170 Year 7 places. It's sixth form is popular, attracting the majority of its own Year 11 students as well as students each year from other schools, all of whom settle in remarkably quickly and strike up lasting friendships with it's existing students.

The school is looking for a Geography Teacher who is confident in their ability to engage with and inspire pupils to achieve their best. Candidates must be fully qualified Secondary School Teachers with excellent classroom practices and a love of teaching.

Applications from experienced Geography Teachers and newly qualified Geography Teachers are welcome.
