Geography Graduate opening in Bexley school!

Are you coming to the end of your degree and are struggling to find a role that will allow you to progress and utilise relevant geography content?

A school in Bexley are looking for a Geography Graduate to work within their sixth-form and provide academic support in your subject specialism, which could potentially lead onto teacher training!

Who are we looking for??...

>Geography Graduate with a 2:1 degree and strong academic background (B’s at GCSE and A-level)
>Experience supporting students is highly advantageous, but not essential.
>Confident in your knowledge and personable in nature

Responsibilities of the Geography Graduate

>To provide support in all geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
>When required, take pupils out for 1:1 and group sessions to ensure they are reaching their academic potential.
>In study periods, ensure students are optimising their free time and provide support for them.
>Provide general Adhoc support such as photocopying, planning resources and marking work
>Undergo all relevant training and remain actively involved in the Geography department

Role: Geography Graduate for Academic Mentor role/Potential Teacher Training
Location: Top-training school in Bexley!
Pay: £80 per day and all-year round work offered!
Duration: Starting September 2018 for minimum of academic year
Specifications: Minimum 2:1 degree in Geography with minimum of B’s at A-level
Desirable: Similar experience in a school!
