Generic Support Worker – Band 3
2 Posts – 1 Post Permanent and 1 Post Fixed Term / *Secondment until 31 March 2018
[Salary Scale : £17,760 - £20,727 per annum pro rata]

We are looking for Generic Support Workers to join our team of physiotherapists working in Ninewells Hospital. These will be rotational posts and will include work within our orthopaedic, cardiac rehabilitation, acute medicine, women’s health, roving and amputee teams. You will provide a supportive role to the clinical caseload of the physiotherapists as well as undertaking administrative and housekeeping duties.

Previous experience within a care setting is essential. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Teamwork is an essential component of this post. IT skills are desirable but training is available.

The Physiotherapy service in Dundee (Tayside) has recently won national awards across several specialties, and all staff are dedicated to deliver the best service possible through expanding skills and knowledge, streamlining service and providing the best in patient care.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
