General Science Teacher Required for York

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking to recruit a strong Science Teacher from Easter 2018 to cover a staff absence in a large academy which has a strong team ethos and fantastic support network in each department. You will be responsible for teaching KS3 General Science so you will require a good knowledge of Chemistry, Biology and Physics as you will be planning, preparing and marking work to ensure that the pupils are on track to hit their projected grades and attending any after school meetings / parent's evenings as required.

You must be a qualified Science Teacher with QTS to be considered for this role and have the passion, drive and enthusiasm for delivering the science curriculum to the high standard expected. The Academy will also consider an NQT for this role.

The ideal candidate will:

*Be an excellent Science specialist
*Have experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school
*Be able to plan, mark and assess work for KS3 students
*Be available for a long-term position from September
