General practice opportunity with a localised, and lesser sized consultancy, part of a construction contractor
Your new company
Your new company are a lesser sized consultancy, working as part of a large construction contractor, based outside the city centre of Norwich. Your consultancy seek out development opportunities for the wider group, create the appraisals, acquire the sites & handle the estates once acquired. The team are based in a beautiful & modern office, offering privacy in a rural location outside of the busy city centre of Norwich.
Your new role
You will be coming into a unique opportunity, which offers variety on a day to day basis, in which you will be supporting both directors of the group, in which you'll help oversee the development process, through planning, site acquisitions & identifying new development opportunities. You will also support with management of the estates, once construction has been completed by the wider construction group, through rent reviews & lease renewals, in which experience from a general practice background will come into use.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, and taking into consideration the hybrid nature of this position, you will need to come from either a general practice surveying background OR alternatively you will have worked as a development surveyor. You will need to have your RICS accreditation, and ideally you will be chartered, although those who are currently going through the APC process will also be taken into serious consideration, and offered the necessary support towards becoming chartered.

You'll receive the opportunity to oversee the entire project process from acquisition, to managing the estates. If not yet chartered, you'll receive paid support towards completing your APC, and mentorship from 2 chartered surveyors, both of whom have worked in the London market and in the prime of their careers. You'll also receive an annual salary of up to £35,000, a company car (Ford) contribution pension, 25 days annual leave, yearly salary reviews & free parking.
