Are you a qualified ACA / ACCA General Practice Manager / Audit & Accounts Manager from a small firm background looking to upgrade to a larger, Top 60 practice but still carry out a mixed general practice role consisting of audit, accounts, tax and advisory assignments? Are you keen to work in a prime location in Central London (West End) in an office of around 70 staff? Or are you currently working in a large practice as an Audit Manager, and looking to move to a smaller firm for a better work life balance and better career progression? Are you keen to work in a friendly environment with a good work life balance, with great support, training and progression opportunities to senior manager level? Based in the audit and accounts department, your role will be evenly mixed between accounts, audit, tax and general business advice. You will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients (C£400 - £500k); providing a wide range of services for your clients, managing assignments from planning to completion, managing small teams, reviewing work, giving staff appraisals and reporting directly to partners. You will also carry out a number of interesting ad hoc advisory based projects as well as new business development. Your clients will be varied and include industries such as media, property, construction, solicitors, entertainment, technology and retail. There will also be genuine opportunities for you to progress to Senior Manager and partner level in the future due to the office needing some more managerial leadership and always promoting from within.
To be considered for this new role you must be a qualified ACA / ACCA with post qualification experience, currently working in a good quality practice firm either as a General Practice Manager or Audit & Accounts Manager. It would be beneficial if you have experience managing your own portfolio of clients as well as experience of a wide range of software packages. This firm has also had great success with candidates who have lived outside of London and relocated to London and wanted to work in a good quality, friendly mid tier firm. Experience of a wide range of clients would be an advantage as would enthusiasm to progress in a short space of time.
