Our client is looking for a General Manager to join their team in Bodmin.
They are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic individual with management experience, preferably in the leisure industry.
This is a full time position and you would be required to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
The role can be demanding and a lot is expected of this hands on position which includes ensuring the staff are interacting with the customers and most importantly they are complying by their high safety standards.
Duties will include
· Managing the facilities day to day operations
· Managing the staff, including rotas, disciplinaries etc
· Ensuring high standards are maintained of cleanliness and safety throughout the facility
· Carry out regular routine inspections and safety checks within the facility.
· Constantly looking for new ways to drive the business forward.
Must have previous experience of management, preferably in the leisure industry.
Self-motivated and keen to learn
Be presentable and enjoy dealing with customers on daily basis.
Have exceptional customer service skills
Be aware of health and safety issues
A driven attitude to look for new growth areas and primarily to ensure top level customer service and safety.
The necessity may arise for the General Manager to support their other sites on occasions so having your own transport would be an advantage.
