A General Manager is required to join a reputable and stable organisation in Kent - but also covering a few operations in Greater London.
The incoming candidate will take full accountability for the entire Structural Steel Business Unit of the firm - from full project work and customer contact, from sales to business development, procurement of materials and ensuring that work is completed on time, in budget, and in full. The role will be highly commercial with a great deal of customer prospecting and development of sales accounts.
The role will involve regular travel across the South East to the sister operation of the business in Greater London so flexibility in your approach is key.
Candidates must have proven experience in all elements of the structural steel industry in order to be considered for the role. You will be a strong manager of staff and be an expert communicator - liaising with stakeholders of all levels, both internally and externally.
