General Manager - Restaurant / Bar

So, we are now looking for a hard-working and dedicated individual who has a passion for the dining and late-night bar experience. The ideal General Manager will be able to work in a fast-paced, buzzing environment and be able to work shifts, evenings and weekends.

Your main responsibilities will be to maximise profit/sales by ensuring that operationally the Restaurant/Bar are running effectively so to exceed customer expectations by delivering an efficient first class service throughout the Restaurant/Bar, ensuring that all targets are achieved whilst practising company / Licensing policies and adhering to procedures.

The General Manager additional duties:

Restaurant / Bar Profit and Loss
To effectively manage all available resources in order to maximise profitability.
Sales Generation
Customer Service
To assist the MD to ensure customer expectations are exceeded in terms of service standards and product knowledge in order to grow the customer base and "Get the customer to enjoy the experience so that they will want to come back"
People Management
To recruit the right people, in the right jobs and develop, and performance manage the team to achieve their full potential whilst following internal and external policies and procedures.
Restaurant /Bar Operations
To ensure that all operational areas e.g. stock control, admin and presentation are maintained in line with Company standards, Policies and Procedures
To ensure that all Company policies and procedures in respect of Security and Health and Safety are adhered to in order to provide a safe and secure environment for all employees and customers.
To deputise for the MD if appropriate, ensuring standards, policies and procedures are maintained.

Salary & Benefits:
£25,000 - £34,000 Basic + Benefits
Ongoing Training and Development
