General Manager / Office Manager

Premier Estates are an award-winning property management agent, who offer their services across properties and developments in the UK, with offices in Cheshire and London.

Looking for an efficient and proactive candidate, who possesses meticulous attention to detail, is extremely organised and used to juggling a heavy workload, to provide comprehensive support to the Regional Operations Director and the London Team.

The role would suit a candidate who regards themselves as the go to person in an organisation, with experience of office management and secretarial duties.

Main Duties

  • Administration support and diary management for the company’s Regional Operations Director.

  • Providing general departmental day-to-day administration, together with secretarial and administrative support to the London Associate Directors and the London Operations Team, including collating expenses, saving emails and drafting and proofreading correspondence.

  • Assisting the Regional Operations Director in maintaining smooth and correct operations within the Estates Team and sub-teams, ensuring that all procedures are adhered to and that operational and financial reports are written, reviewed and submitted accurately, and in a timely manner.

  • Line Management of the London based Estates Coordinators, including undertaking performance reviews and appraisals.
  • Efficiently liaising with departments across two offices and various developments, as well regularly liaising with the Operations Director’s PA.

  • Preparing documentation, collating reports and compiling correspondence on the Director’s behalf.

  • Coordinating meetings, taking and distributing minutes, and following up on action points.

  • Assisting in setting up records and procedures for developments, including establishing service contracts, mail-shots to residents, and liaising with the Finance department regarding service charges and management fees.

  • Presenting a professional, positive and friendly approach to the company’s external contacts.

  • Undertaking general office management to ensure the smooth running of the London office, including ordering supplies; keeping the office clean and organised; IT troubleshooting; monitoring and resolving any faults that may occur (printer, copier, PCs and telephones, etc.); and liaising with the Business Administration Team, on occasion, to find timely resolutions to any such issues.

  • Undertaking other general duties as required to assist in the success of Premier Estates.

Person Specification


A minimum of 18 months supporting senior executives in a similar role.

Experience of customer service.

Experience of managing a busy and demanding workload.

Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.

Exhibit confidentiality, discretion and diplomacy.

Eloquent written and verbal communication skills.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Professional and firm when required.


Experience in the property industry.

Educated to degree level.
