General Manager (Franchise Model) - 60K OTE - West Midlands, South or South West
A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Leader / General Manager to develop, inspire and lead new marketing, sales and business plans for one of the UK's most successful early-years educational franchises.
Reporting directly to the board of directors (with active board involvement), this role will involve leading a network of experienced and successful master franchises to develop and implement improved sales, marketing and growth opportunities for the group.
The ability to identify and maximise profitability through sales to the Franchisee network will be essential as this role will ultimately have management responsibility for multiple programmes consisting of over 500 franchises in the UK alone.
There will also be a requirement to lead a small team of administrative staff in relation to IT issues, accounts, sales, stock control, training and franchise support.
So if you are an inspirational leader, a clear and creative thinker and are able to set and achieve challenging yet achievable targets whilst contributing marketing and business strategy at board level then this could be the role you have been looking for.
Ideally, the successful applicant will possess at least 5 years experience in business management within a similar sector or franchise environment. In addition, the successful applicant should also be able to demonstrate experience in setting and achieving goals, handling commercial and contractual issues and boast a proven track record in improving overall business performance.
This role can be based anywhere in the UK but will involve some field travel to meet with Franchisees as well as to attend regular meetings in Berkshire, London and Wiltshire. Therefore, a West Midlands location with easy access to the South and South West may be ideal.
