We are looking for a passionate, organised and motivated individual for this successful and busy country restaurant located in the heart of the Cotswold's. With approx 70 covers inside and a beautiful outside dining area we are looking for someone with strong leadership skills & a passion for hospitality. This coupled with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment and lead a team in this beautiful country restaurant with rooms.
You will be forward thinking but also understand the demands of working within a small branded group and the systems and procedures that are in place. The owners are looking for someone who can come in and hit the ground running, both in the day to day running of the site and also from a management point of view. This being said you should have a strong financial understanding and will be fully responsible for all aspects of the business- front and back of house.
You will be a strong manager, who is hands on and isn't afraid to get stuck in. With a background in fresh food restaurant concepts, ideally with previous 1 or 2 Rosette experience. You will be confident working at a high volume. You will understand the importance of consistency and providing a high level of service in a relaxed environment. You will need to understand the two sides of the business, with lunch times offering a more informal, quicker paced service and evening's concentrating more on the main restaurant and the 2 Rosette A La Carte menu. Providing diversity between the two sides of this is essential. You will also have a core group of locals who frequent the bar area upon an evening!
Previous experience with letting rooms ideally within a similar style boutique hotel is preferred but not essential.
You will be responsible for the day to day operation of the business as a whole and will be responsible for the training and development of staff. As well as understanding the rules and regulations behind Health & Safety, you will need to have a good financial understanding and be able to control and manage the P&L.
Ensuring the team are motivated and working to the best of their ability is essential, therefore confidence in training your team is very important.
Basic of up to £45,000
Annual Bonus of £10,000
