The General Ledger Accountant will be required to function as an advanced professional level accountant, under limited supervision. Evaluating the most complex transactions and records to the General Ledger as necessary to ensure the financials are accurate and complete. Supporting internal
customers and developing critical relationships with various client groups, maintaining current financial information.
The General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for the completion of complex balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis. Identifying process problems and implementing solutions.

 Good knowledge of accounting, preferably intention to complete, or part or fully qualified (CIMA,
ACCA)
 Good level usage of Excel and data manipulation
 Dedications and commitment to achieve results and deadlines.
 Oracle knowledge/experience an advantage
 Sound knowledge of general accounting and reporting processes
 Effective resolution of complex reporting requirements
 Highly numerate and methodical
 Maintain efficient control under pressure to meet deadlines
 Good communication skills
 Time management and prioritization skills
 Fluency in French

? French GAAP
? Complete the most complex reconciliations and income statement analysis
? Calculate, review and process journal entries and reconciliations. Reviews work of lower-level employees.
? Support and/or participate in special projects. Leads projects of more complexity,
developing project leadership skills.
? Acts as functional expert with other departments on complex day-to-day functions of the department.
? Responsible for producing, reviewing, analyzing and issuing periodic reporting on general subject matter.
? Demonstrates an understanding of various accounting processes and identify root causes and areas for improvements and implements solutions.
