GDPR Project Support Officer, Bangor, North Wales

We have a fantastic opportunity for an organised and experienced candidate to work as a GDPR Project Support Officer, based in a large organisation in Bangor, North Wales. Reporting to the Data Protection and Senior Access to Information Officer, he main purpose of the role will be to provide support to the GDPR Project Team to ensure preparations and compliance is met for the introduction of the General Data Protection Regulations in May 2018

Main duties of the GDPR Project Support Officer, Bangor, North Wales role will be:

  • Co-ordinating information, monitoring progress and ensuring all information is up to date
  • Support the development and management of the project, monitor schedules and prepare progress reports
  • Liaise with key internal stakeholders
  • Administer project document control
  • Organisation of regular project meetings including drafting agendas and taking minutes
  • Any other duties as required

To be successful in the role of GDPR Project Support Officer, Bangor, North Wales you should:

  • Ideally have previous experience in a project support role
  • A team player
  • High level administrative skills including excellent knowledge of the Microsoft packages
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to speak Welsh to level 1 or above (basic Welsh cobnversational phrases and pronounce place names)

This is a full time temporary roole for an initial period of 6 months working 37 hours per week. An attractive salary of £9.68-11.00 per hour is on offer plus holiday pay and Pension contributions.
