GDPR Project Manager - 3 Months+ Contract - Winchester
I am currently recruiting for an a GDPR Project Manager for an initial 3 month+ contract to work within the IT Services Team of a well-established Public Service organisation in Winchester.
The main purpose of this role is to support and advise the IT Services department and wider business understand in more detail, how the business store and manage electronic data.
As the Project Manager you'll be responsible for providing expert advice to the key business units and stakeholders to ensure the organisation have a clear understanding of the correct processes for the new legislation. We're not looking for someone to implement compliance standards, we're looking for someone who can support the delivery of key workstreams as the Project Manager, working as part of a wider project.
You will have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to understand and translate technical information to the wider business functions and teams. You will advise how the functional IT teams store data, to help raise awareness of data protection compliance standards required and any associated changes.
It is essential the organisation have someone able to work independently, you will be the SME for this area of the project and will consult and advise senior managers across the business, acting as the primary point of contact. You will have a flexible approach to working, able to adapt and create tailored solutions to business units as required. Through the delivery of your workstreams you will help the organisation to establish robust and compliant business processes for the future.
