GDPR Consultant - Contract - Liverpool
Knownfour are working with a growing company based in Liverpool with sites primarily based in the North West to onboard a GDPR Consultant to assist them in identifying what is required to bring their organisation in line ready for the EU GDPR in May 2018, and implementing changes to processes to ensure compliance.
The role will see you advising on the practical implementation of information security controls to meet legal requirements as well as working across different sectors of this diverse business to identify, define and risk assess ready for implementation of new and updated processes.
The Organisation has interests in Manufacturing, Distribution and Leisure/Property industries in a variety of market sectors, and has approximately 400 UK based employees across all divisions.
Skills & Experience
Good understanding of the existing Data Protection Act and the upcoming General Data Protection Regulation and its practical implications in a diverse multi company environment.
Excellent leadership and communications skills to manage upwardly to senior executives as well as to motivate and manage core GDPR stakeholders.
Strong information security knowledge including both electronic and manual systems
Analysis of existing business processes and generation of gap analysis and risk assessments in line with upcoming regulations
Management of projects and stakeholders in a diverse multiple company environment
