Liaise with the GIRS and Planning Team, Metering Dept., Metering Manager and Commercial Team.
To implement and manage the role out and ongoing operation of the new company IGT business. The role will involve an in-depth understanding of the IGT process and how it will develop the existing business. Responsibility for identifying and addressing business, systems and recruitment requirements and opportunities to successfully operate the company IGT business
o Ensure company IGT licence and related accreditations are maintained (Licence to
Lead for company during internal and external periodic / annual IGT and HS&E and GSR audits
Liaising with the SEL GIRS team, planning, metering and commercial teams
Liaising with the HS&E
Liaising with Ofgem
Familiarisation with Network Code and associated connection and exit Agreements.
Manage all technical matters for new gas connections through the IGT process up to 38 bar Responsible person for development and adherence to HSE company Gas Safety Case, including updating and amending as required
o Possess or working to (within one year) IEng accreditation with IGEM
o Member of or working towards (within one year) Member of Institute of Asset Management Previous experience of working in the natural gas / gas metering / construction industry
o Ability to work within a face-paced team environment and also as stand-alone
o Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
o Must be literate, numerate and IT proficient, particularly with MS office package,
o Keen to expand knowledge and experience to other areas within the Company
o Occasional travel to other company locations, customer offices and locations and visits to operational sites third party construction sites
o Minimum standards of mobility – due to visits / working at times on 3
o Maintain personal engineering accreditations and qualifications, including CPD
Salary £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending upon skills and experience.
Hours 37.5 hours a week
Holiday 23 days per annum plus 3 / 4 days Xmas / New Year Shutdown plus the 8 Bank Holidays.
Pension Matched contributions up to 3%, which makes a maximum monthly contribution of 6%
