Commercial Gas Engineer required for our client, they are a specialist mechanical and electrical contractor based in Peterborough. They offer service, maintenance and breakdown contracts to commercial based clientele. They currently require the Commercial Gas Engineer to cover a patch local to Peterborough area so the Installation Engineer must live within a commutable distance.

The Commercial Gas Service Engineer will be tasked with the installation of commercial natural gas boiler, appliances and pipework. The Commercial Gas Engineer will cover sites such as schools, offices, hotels, restaurants and other similar commercial based sites. The Commercial Gas Engineer will cover a few main sites around the Peterborough area.

The Commercial Gas Engineer will be required to hold in date Commercial ACS Gas Tickets (COCN1, CODNCO1, CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1 etc) and have passed an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing and Heating.

Commercial Gas Engineer Position Overview

The Commercial Gas Engineer will travel throughout Peterborough attending commercial sites to perform the installation of commercial heating systems.

Commercial Gas Engineer Position Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Commercial Gas Tickets - ACS
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in plumbing and heating
  • Strong fault finding skills set
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Based within a commutable distance of Peterborough

Commercial Gas Engineer Position Remuneration

  • Salary £28,000 - £36,000
  • Travel paid after 30 minutes
  • Call Out
  • Overtime
  • Company van
  • Uniform, tools, phone etc.
  • 22 days holiday + BH
  • Full package discussed at interview
