£18,000- £19,500 + company benefits
My client, a leading developer of luxury retirement villages, currently has an excellent opportunity for a Gardener to join the team at their village.
This is a full-time, permanent role, that offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Gardener to enhance their skill set and forge a strong career in the hospitality industry.
Thanks to you, the owners of the properties at their luxury villages, and the guests who come to enjoy the exceptional service within the grounds, will embrace the view of your exceptionally tendered gardens and enjoy the colourful tranquil areas you have created to sit and watch the world go by or simply relax. Whether you're mowing lawns, planting flowers, weeding or pruning trees, the outdoors will be your haven.
Owners may have allotments that they may wish you to be involved in, you may look after these during holidays or they may even want to assist you with the main areas on occasion, your role will be to ensure the grounds are kept to the highest of standards, ensure all health & safety standards are met, and to respect that this is the home of those who will enjoy your work.
The role will involve working with others to provide seamless services throughout retirement homes; you will be able to interact freely with owners and guests in a warm and empathetic way. You may even be required to encourage our owners not to give up on a hobby like that they have always enjoyed, gardening.
The skills you'll need
Taking a real pride in everything you do is essential. Of course, you'll need experience of working in the landscaping or gardening sector, where you may already have ideas and skills in plant selections or green keeping skills but it's your attitude that counts. Flexible, enthusiastic and full of initiative, you're the type of person who gets things done. You also have the highest standards and pay scrupulous attention to detail. Above all, you have the ability to create an environment for our owners and guests of warm, friendly and impeccably kept landscaped grounds.
Last but not least, don't let the grass grow under your feet, we're moving and growing all the time, therefore shift patterns and flexibility in seasonal times will be required.
If you are interested in the role please apply now for immediate consideration.
