We are looking for an Investment Financial Controller based at our offices in Swindon. We would like to hear from you whether you are qualified or part qualified.
In this role we would like you to split your time between being the Investment controller for Galloper Wind Farm now it is in its final stages of construction and moving into operations phase and also supporting the Financial Controller for offshore in financial planning and analysis.
Being the key financial contact for Galloper project you will compile internal reports on the status of Innogys share of investment in Galloper highlighting both risks and opportunities, create budgets and forecasts and have input into the business plan alongside evaluating the financial reports and challenging financial decision making.
The other side of the role will see you producing reports on the segments financial results, managing monthly accruals process , providing support and direction for the Financial Controller (Offshore Service Provision) in managing the time recording and charging processes
What requirements and experience are we looking for
We would like you to be qualified or part-qualified if you have the right experience and skill set. You will need to be familiar with investment appraisal methodology, financial statements and accounting principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary alongside an understanding of the electricity market in the UK and the challenges that face the renewable energy industry. Lastly the ability to present financial information using the appropriate media as you will be presenting to senior management on a regular basis.
