Our Client is an exciting and dynamic FX & Digital Currency market-maker, active in Africa and Middle East currencies and markets. Their niche in these developing economies make them uniquely capable of unlocking liquidity for their ever-growing customer base and opening new possibilities. They are forming part of a future where finance is more accessible, technology-driven, and securely integrated with the global economy.

As their FX and Digital Currency sales team in London grows, they are looking for self-driven, determined individuals in a Sales Associate or Senior Associate role. You will already have 12-24 month’s sales experience within an FX and/or Fintech environment and ready for the next step in your career. Alternatively, you could have a minimum 12-24 months financial services sales experience (banking, wealth, insurance, treasury, etc). You will have also had experience within lead generation/telephone sales before making the step up to a role such as this. FX market experience/knowledge is a preferred but not essential. If you are an early-years sales professional or a graduate looking to get into sales with a passion for emerging markets and building new relationships, this is a fantastic opportunity to catapult your career where you will be supported by senior management, have clear progression to team leadership and a transparent path to financial success.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead new business growth within the team by engaging directly with EM clients seeking FX and digital currency services.
  • Research and qualify potential customers in our niche markets and follow-up leads generated for you.
  • Orchestrating the smooth opening of accounts and onboarding new clients, ensuring a seamless transition into our platform.
  • Organise, schedule and lead customer calls, providing clients with comprehensive information about our products and services.
  • Leverage your FX sales skills to provide expert guidance on hedging strategies, risk management, and financial market trends.
  • Contact key C-suite leaders of businesses in various countries and industries.
  • Mentoring and coaching junior members of the team to foster their professional growth.
  • Work collaboratively with trading, marketing, compliance, branding and product management to help business development.

What you’ll need:

  • Energy, commitment and determination!
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Passion for building new relationships and a sense of urgency.
  • Previous relevant sales or client service experience in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce / HubSpot would be ideal.
  • Effective organisation and time-management skills, excellent attention to detail and self-motivation in an independent, fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
  • Tenacity and the ability to work in a transparent environment.
