Posted 9 January by EJ Legal Limited Easy Apply Ended

An excellent opportunity has arisen that would particularly suit a future trainee looking to work for 6-12 months.

The role is with a mid-sized city firm in their banking team which comprises of three partners and two associates. They are seeking to expand the team and take on a paralegal. At this firm they view their paralegals the same as they do their trainees, so the level of work you will be given will be at trainee level, and the salary reflects this!

The successful paralegal can look forward to working on a range of transactions, from debt finance, real estate finance and general banking. Duties will vary from the more administrative side up to drafting documents.

Although this role would particularly suit a future trainee, providing an excellent grounding before commencing their training contract, applications are very welcome from paralegals who are seeking a training contract as well. It is expected the candidate can demonstrate an excellent academic record, ideally having completed the LPC as well as LLB/GDL, and electives in M&A, Corporate, Debt Finance, Equity Finance etc would be a bonus as would transactional experience in a related field, banking, finance, corporate for example.
