Furniture Sales - London

Our client is an established furniture dealer. They are looking to employ a Furniture Sales person to achieve/exceed the planned and targeted levels of sales and profitability and focus on, and win, new business within the London area.

Job Summary:

  • Identify lead generation and target opportunities involving cold calling, networking, marketing and other mechanisms
  • Lead the sales process, including lead generation, mock-up and tender, and take full responsibility for closing
  • Provide accurate forecasting and weekly updates
  • Develop and maintain a strong business pipeline
  • Facilitate win rooms on certain opportunities
  • Develop and create market intelligence through networking and develop select number of strategic partnerships
  • Attend a minimum number of new appointments each week as agreed with the Sales Manager
  • Manage time accordingly to visit clients, manage opportunities and lead generation
  • Profile the main companies and opportunities within your area to maximise sales opportunities

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven track record in new business sales within the commercial interiors industry
  • The candidate will already have a number of key external client and influencer contacts that they will be able to utilise within this role
  • Ability to identify and build strong key relationships at all levels with both clients and internal resources
  • Ability to grasp the technical aspects of furniture and parallel interiors services and translate this into a meaningful proposition for customers
  • Strong social, communication and relationship building skills on all levels in business
  • High level of numeracy and literacy
  • Ability to work with little supervision to meet targets and objectives
  • Education - Degree level or equivalent preferable but not essential


  • £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
