My client a leading charity that provide learning disability Training, Domiciliary Care, Supported Living services, Mentoring and an Information, Advice and Guidance service.
Your new role
My client is looking for a Fundraising Manager to lead its income generation strategy. This will include securing grant fundraising from charitable sources., managing of new and existing funder relationships and identifying and developing/implementing innovative ways to fund charitable activities.
You will need to develop innovative social enterprise schemes and wider opportunities through grant applications and project management. You will also oversee the management of their Charity shop and the growth of additional future retail opportunities.
This will involve travel across the region to support these activities.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Fundraising Manager ideally within the Social Care sector. You will have experience of growing the fundraiser operations through evaluation of current sources and identifying opportunities to maximise these avenues and potentially explore new ones.
You will have experience of fund / bid writing and track record of securing funding. You will have managed a team previously and be able to lead a fundraising team.
Ideally car driver to travel to the various sites.
