Job title: Fundraising Email Officer

We have an opportunity for a Fundraising Email Officer to join our busy Digital Media Team to deliver email marketing activity that recruits donors, retains supporters and generates income for the RSPCA.
As Fundraising Email Officer you’ll be using email to promote the latest fundraising campaigns as part of an integrated multi-channel supporter journey. It’s an exciting time to join the team as we implement our new Salesforce Marketing Cloud system. Can you help the Society achieve their objective of being a digital first organisation?
What you’ll be doing:
Producing, advising on and developing email marketing strategies for fundraising campaigns
Building and editing responsive email templates to brief using HTML and CSS with thorough cross client testing on all major platforms
Inputting fundraising email activity into the digital marketing calendar and ensuring that these are scheduled and delivered appropriately alongside other email and digital marketing activity
Producing and editing content, and making content requests from other departments and digital channels
Developing and delivering behavioural marketing strategies, using supporter preferences and behavioural data to develop personalised email communications and engaging integrated user journeys
Setting KPIs for email activity and working with the Digital Fundraising Analyst and eCRM supplier to measure performance
Carrying out competitor analysis against other commercial and non-profit organisations
Marketing or related qualification in business (desirable)
Proven experience in an online marketing environment
Experience in creating email marketing campaigns
Experience of copywriting and HTML coding
Knowledge of personalisation, behavioural segmentation and marketing and SEO
