FUNDRAISING AND PARTNERSHIPS MANAGER

We have a very exciting opportunity to join a well established UK Charity based in Guildford. My client are looking for a Fundraising and Partnerships Manager to join their growing Marketing department.

Your primary focus will be to forge partnerships with corporations to secure and increase funding. You will be at the centre of the Fundraising strategy and work closely with the Chief executive to expose this.

For this role you will need to be highly driven and business minded with a proven track record of increasing funding and managing high value relationships with corporate funders.

The successful candidate will be very enthusiastic with high levels initiative. You will need to have a positive attitude and focus on solutions not difficulties.

Candidates from a Charity background would be very desirable but not essential.

You will need to be forward thinking, strategic in your work and always thinking of your pipeline ahead.

Working hours are Monday - Friday 9.00-5.30pm.
Travel to meet corporate partners within the UK is expected.
Some weekend and out of hours work may be necessary.

Your main duties will be :

To develop corporate fundraising strategy and targets.

Develop and maintain a portfolio of companies and identify growth areas and opportunities within the corporate sector.

Create corporate fundraising packages for sponsorship/donation/CSR fundraising. 

To manage relationships with Corporates before, during, and after receipt of funds and maintain a high level of supporter care with Corporates.

Provide monthly financial reports and progress reports.

Manage current corporate partnerships and look to maximise income potential.

Monitor CSR/Corporate Responsibility issues in the media, and keep up to date with professional fundraising associations and media regarding fundraising tools and skills development.

Ensure compliance with current Institute of Fundraising Code of Fundraising Practice guidelines and data protection legislation.

To raise the profile by networking at appropriate events and secure new introductions.
