A 6 month contract opportunity (with scope to extend) for an experienced fund finance professional to join a market leading diversified Investment Management business within their Infrastructure investments business (3bn+ AUM).

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role requires an individual who is highly organised, capable of dealing with multiple workstreams and running defined processes efficiently and autonomously. The team you will be working in is busy and diverse so it is essential that you are proactive, keen to learn, focused, self-motivated and able to work under deadlines.

The key purpose of the role is :

  • Fund and Investor accounting oversight for institutional and listed funds. This will involve preparing and presenting financial information at Board Meetings; Overseeing distributions, NAV, Unit pricing and dividend calculations; and management of the associated administrators

  • Assisting with new deal closes (structuring, tax and onboarding new assets) as well as new fund raises and fund launches

  • Team management of three qualified accountants

Skills and qualifications needed:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least 4-6 years post qualified experience

  • Technical knowledge of IFRS and Investment Entity accounting

  • Knowledge of fund accounting and fund structures including GPs and AIFs (UK, Lux, Channel Islands).

  • Experience of working with infrastructure investment assets and an understanding of relevant subsidy schemes is preferable
