Functional Skills Tutors

We are seeking Maths and English Functional Skills Tutors on behalf of several clients across Yorkshire for short and long term work, part time, full time and ad hoc assignments.

Teaching post 16 students, many of whom are undertaking apprenticeships, you’ll work with small groups and more intensively with individuals, towards level 1 and 2 functional skills qualifications.

We have current active vacancies in both York and Wakefield.

You’ll need :-

Proven functional skills experience in Maths or English

Relevant qualifications (PGCE, Cert. Ed, QTLS or equivalent)

Excellent time management and organisation skills

Great leadership and student motivation skills

A current DBS registered with the Update Service or a DBS done through WorkwithSchools
