Our client who is situated on the outskirts of Banbury are looking to recruit a Service Technician to join their team. This position has become available due to company expansion and require individuals who can use their own initiative, problem solve and recognise jobs that need doing with out constant supervision. This astute company are recognised as one of the leading automotive brands across Europe and offer a bespoke service to all of their customers.

As a Service Technician you will be responsible for adopting and adhering to the high standards of the industries top brand manufacturing clients.

Your key duties will include but not limited too;

  • Servicing and minor repairs to vehicles
  • Tyre replacements, health checks and diagnostics to specified vehicles
  • Managing own workload to pre-determined timescales
  • Completion and recording all paperwork- both daily tasks sheets and brand specific documentation
  • Prioritisation of urgent requests and liaison with other departments
  • Responsible for housekeeping in your work area
  • Abide to all Health and safety on site
  • Participate in all company training and refresher courses
  • Offering assistance to other departments in accordance for the needs of the business

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity my client requires applicants who are fully qualified Motor Vehicle Mechanics or a Semi- Skilled Technician with a minimum of 2 years experience within a motor trade environment, you will be asked to provide documentation to prove your capabilities.

You will also require a full clean driving licence in accordance to the nature of the role and the company’s location. Normal working hours are based on a 40hour week Monday to Friday however you will require some flexibility as during peak trading there is the potential of overtime and holiday cover. Along with a very competitive salary the company offers performance related team bonuses which will be discussed further at interview stage.
