This is complex development position based on the crawling and manipulation of huge sets of data, working with exciting new technologies from the Open Source market, including Hadoop, HBASE, ElasticSearch, Mahoot, RabbitMQ and WebGL. This role is well suited to a passionate mid-level software developer with exceptional problem-solving skills and good experience of working in a small / start-up environment.
Full Stack Developer Role and Responsibilities:
-Be involved at all stages of the design and development of innovative and highly robust software applications
-Add to the ethos of a vibrant young technology company with innovation, hard-work and a true passion for technology at its core.
-Work on a mainly Java development stack across the full SDLC producing high quality code.
-As part of a small but completely software-focused company, help to decide upon technical strategy and technology choice.
Full Stack Developer Skills Required:
-Excellent software engineering skills in one or more Object Oriented languages: Java (preferred), interest in Python and Scala is advantageous.
-An strong academic track record with a BSc minimum (2.1 or above) in a computing, scientific, mathematical or engineering discipline.
-Passionate about learning new technologies and be inquisitive how they work.
-Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
-Be open to working with React / Redux / Angular / Node on the front-end.

£40,000 - £55,000 (depending on experience) + shares & bonus potential
