Your new company
This well-renowned organisation is looking to expand it's in house development team by recruiting 2 hands-on developers. The positions will be based from their head office location in central Southampton, with direct transport links to most of Hampshire, the Isle of Wight and London (1.5 hours away).
We're seeking a experienced .Net developer than can hit the ground running but as there are two positions there is a flexible approach to looking at someone junior or mid-level to supplement the team (providing they have the right attitude towards learning and working in a full stack .Net team).
Your new role
The mandate of the role surrounds integrating systems, providing web applications and web services. It will also involve working on developing new and existing enterprise application interfaces and working with various stakeholders across the business.
There is a busy project pipeline and the work you are doing genuinely impacts people's lives. It's a professional environment and the team hand autonomy to developers so you'll have a high degree of responsibility.
The team run Agile and believe in patterns for software design used appropriately so adering to high coding standards will be paramount in the role. The organisation is well-established and have strong staff retention rates with a guaranteed progression path available.
What you'll need to succeed
Back end is the priority for this role and you will have a minimum of 4 years development experience working with C# and SQL Server.
You should have taken projects through the for the full software development lifecycle and be interested in growing your .Net web experience using Asp.Net MVC / WebAPI.
The organisation subscribes to modern Agile coding practices and are looking for knowledge of Test Driven/Behavioural Driven Development, Dependency Injection, Continuous integration and alike.
You must have strong interpersonal and communication skills as collaboration is actively encouraged and is key to the culture of the business.
