Your new company
I'm engaged on a project to recruit a Senior hands-on .Net developer to join a start-up FinTech venture, based from their offices in Poole, Dorset. It's a technology first organisation with a unique proposition that can make a real social impact. The business is actively looking at new technology approaches with a distinct interest in Cryptocurrency and the majority of the work will be greenfield. .
The company is seeking a hungry, ambitious individual with an interest in getting involved with a company in their formative years but with solid financial backing and plans to scale rapidly.
Your new role
Primarily you'll be involved in the design and development of web based-applications and API's. The role will be hands-on, but the company are highly ambitious and see 2 tech teams growing locally and in Europe, with 100% headcount growth within 12 months.
You'll be looked at to bring new technology ideas to the table, will have a hand in the architecture and higher level elements of the work and will influence approaches to software. It's a fun, sociable work environment where work life balance is not an abstract culture and you'll truly be able to measure the impact of your work on the company.
What you'll need to succeed
The company have traditionally operated a core monolithic .Net stack so a deep knowledge of this will be imperative (including Asp.Net MVC/Web API, SQL server, C# and Linq/EF).
In a move to achieve operational agility they are looking at microservices and various deployment methods, so a language agnostic developer would suit the role with an open mind to multiple development stacks.
Front end experience will be crucial, including modern JS frameworks, or at a minimum, Bootstrap/jQuery/Razor.
Those with experience of Azure or helping to grow a start-up will be at a distinct advantage.
What you'll get in return
There is flexibility in the working hours and work from home options will be available on an ad hoc basis.. There is parking nearby and the main non-salaried attraction is the offer of share options to early stage employees.
