POST- are recruiting for a Full Stack Developer to work for an ambitious and forward-thinking business within the automotive industry who provide premium and specialist vehicle solutions to businesses and private clients throughout the UK. The business is embarking on a long-term plan to become an innovator in its sector and requires a developer with not just the technical skills but also the ideas and ambition to be part of this company’s bright future.
The scope of the role will be to develop (New build) and maintain the Company’s websites - both customer facing and internal back office systems. You should regard yourself as a front-end specialist with an understanding of the full LAMP stack.
Your main duties will be to develop, establish, improve and maintain the websites and web systems associated with the business while supporting and advising other members of the web development team, with particular regard to reviewing the coding and design of any application or similar created by other team members. Mentoring other members of the web development team as required. Briefing and training other members of the Web Development team on areas of specialist skills as well as acting as a testing resource.
You will work with SEO staff to aid the increase of website traffic while providing continual recommendations for improvements/changes to meet evolving technology and consumer trends in order to support the company’s marketing and sales objectives. You'll maintain data feeds into the company’s back-office systems and to the company’s partners with a high level of security in order to keep the company's websites secure from intrusion.
