The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a market leading insurance business with an international presence to assist them in their search for a Full Stack Developer. The role will focus on design and build of new functions and tools designed to assist the risk management team in their analysis work.

The successful candidate will have excellent C# skills and will be entirely at ease with ASP.NET. Strong SQL Server skills are also absolutely essential. You should also have a strong grasp of JavaScript and should be familiar with AngularJS as well as having strong AJAX and JSON knowledge. It is expected that you will have considerable experience with HTML and CSS.

Previous experience in the insurance industry is not an essential requirement, but would be welcome. You are expected to be accustomed to working in a high tempo and innovative office environment, however. You should be comfortable taking the lead with specific development projects, but will be accustomed to taking direction from a Lead Developer and / or a commercial business manager. You will be keen and have an innovative approach to problem solving, with the ability to create mock ups at short notice with a view to further development after approval.
