I’m working with a company specialising in full product/service management solutions. They aim to deliver the most innovative, flexible and up-to-date systems in order to manage financial and operational risks whilst also optimising supply chains and improving business strategy for their clients.
They’re looking to add a frontend developer with a keen eye for UX/UI design to work on the look and feel of their system, as well as a full-stack developer to have input on the frontend but work predominantly on the development of the systems performance.
The main project that you would get to work on is a large-scale, bespoke, risk management system. You would develop the core dashboard and monitoring centre, including a lot of 3rd party API integration and big data, displaying risks across multiple areas and providing improvement suggestions and solutions. They are also looking to re-write parts of the system into a microservices architecture, which will allow them to tailor the technologies they use for different aspects of the system, whilst keeping up to date with all of the latest tech. This will also ensure that the system in able to continuously change/grow in line with their clients. The system in currently being migrated over from Zend1 to Zend3, and with the microservices architecture coming into effect, other technologies will be utilised for specific/bespoke projects in the future.
On top of working on the main system, you will be required to develop and improve their visual, interactive, analytical tools which enable their clients to better understand the scale of data and its trends. You would work on the look and feel of these tools, as well as making sure that they run as smoothly and accurately as possible.
- PHP, MySQL
- MVC (Currently using Zend, open to any framework experience)
- HTML, CSS
This is a great chance for developers to join a fantastic company, based bang in the centre of Liverpool and offering work on some really large-scale systems and projects, as well as great scope for self-development and the opportunity to make your mark on what is already a highly reputable system.
