Front of House Receptionist-Business Support -Receptionist

 Salford Quays - Manchester 
 Hours: 8.30am – 5.00pm-
 £15,500 - £17,000pa
 Free parking - Location based near tram routes 

Ensure that the Reception, Switchboard, Building, Offices and Meeting Rooms operate efficiently and smoothly.
  • Dealing with clients, callers, visitors and suppliers in a courteous manner.
  • To supervise the Junior Receptionist.
  • To assist the Customer Service Manager/General Manager in the general duties of the reception, offices, building, car parking, clients and meeting rooms servicing.
A high standard of presentation, strong personality and experience is essential as you will be the first port of call for the business.

 ·         Supervising the Junior Receptionist to make sure all work is carried out as efficiently as possible.
·         Answering calls for clients based in building.
·         To ensure that all calls are directed to the appropriate client/company in a professional and efficient manner.
·         Calls to be answered as quickly as possible, within 3 rings.
·         To ensure that all messages are emailed to the appropriate client.
·         To meet and greet visitors to the building and meeting rooms in a friendly professional manner and informing the appropriate client of their arrival.
·         Making sure all visitors/contractors are signed in/out.
·         Managing car parking and taking bookings.
·         Directing visitors to the building.
·         To be kept clean and tidy for any viewings.
·         Take bookings for the meeting rooms using Outlook Calendar.
·         Ensuring if any changes to the meeting room bookings are made that the relevant people are informed and orders are updated.
·         Prepare the meeting rooms.
·         Ordering of food for client meetings.
·         Serving of refreshments if requested.
·         To help promote our meeting room service to internal and external Clients.
·         To be kept clean and tidy for any viewings.
·         Carry out any ad-hoc viewings that may be required.
·         To handle client queries in a professional and courteous manner and reporting to Customer Service Manager/General Manager if necessary.
·         Contact Customer Service Manager if new stationery is required.
·         Keep stock control of all stationery.
·         Arrange for couriers upon request by clients.
·         To be kept tidy at all times.
·         Confidential information to be kept out of sight and locked away at night.
·         Liaising with cleaners and contractors in a professional and polite manner.
·         Keeping an accurate and up to date log of all keys/fobs signed out.
·         Keeping an accurate and up to date Helpdesk log, informing Customer Service Manager/General Manager to call out contractors.
·         Ensure that the list is kept up to date on a monthly basis.
·         Other tasks, as requested by Customer Service Manager/General Manager
·         Ensuring each job is completed in an efficient and professional manner.

You will have:
  • Front of house experience or Reception and Customer Service Experience
  • An exposure working within customer service
  • Administration skills
  • An adaptable, flexible approach to work
  • Have the right manner to thrive in giving the best customer service via face to face and over the telephone.
