2018 is an exciting year for instinct laboratory, as we move into our new global headquarters in Nottingham, UK. Our new building, instinct house, is the culmination of over a decade’s research as to how it is that human beings interact with their environment, and promises to be one the most progressive office buildings in the country.

Comprised of three key teams, instinct laboratory has a human research department, a behavioural sciences team and a creative studio. To support our continuing global growth we are seeking an enthusiastic front end developer to help expand our design services to global clients. This unique role will involve working with a multi-disciplined team on international projects.

The specific job role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Front End Javascript Developer who will work with the latest modern tech developing high-performance websites. We are looking for a passionate individual who will work closely with Designers, UX individuals and testers to create the best user journey possible borne from an incredible understanding or human needs. You will have:

  • Experience in Front End UI development
  • Strong Javascript experience (particularly Angular 2 and/or React)
  • Very strong experience of HTML5 and CSS3
  • Strong communication skills, as you will be working closely with the wider design and user experience team
  • An eye for detail when it comes to creating websites from mock-up designs and strict visual specifications
  • Excellent independent problem-solving skills and a thirst to learn full stack development
