Front End Web Developer with UI and UX - Swindon (J16 M4) - £33k - £38k

Avanti Recruitment is working with an exciting and innovative brand to recruit a Front End Web Developer with UI and UX elements to join their large and successful marketing team. They are looking for a Front-End Web Developer who will combine the art of design with programming. Working closely with other developers and UI Graphic Designers, you will bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation whilst taking an active role in defining how the company website and email communications look, as well as how they work.

You will translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into code to create fantastic webpages and great visuals in line with brand standards.

You will join a very social and fun culture. Ideally you will have…

  • Strong knowledge in JavaScript, CSS and HTML in an ASP.NET environment, along with familiarity with new frameworks and prototyping tools
  • A sound level of experience in web development, with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Experience in building modular codebases along with REST APIs and knowledge of how to interface with them
  • Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility and analytics solutions, such as Google Analytics

It's a fast-paced environment, so you need to be quick-thinking, proactive, accurate and flexible in your approach, with a 'can do’ attitude. As someone who takes pride in their work and who genuinely cares about delivering their very best, you will be welcomed into an intelligent and highly effective team, which is growing all the time.

For more information on the great benefits available and to hear about this exciting company, please feel free to contact Mike Walton at Avanti.
