Our Client is part of a larger group; a group of seven UK based companies at the forefront of the transport and logistics industry and due to expansion and growth are now looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join their team in St Albans.
You will be joining one of the UK's most successful independently owned European Transport companies which provide European logistics solutions to a broad range of industry sectors, mainly in the food, drinks and FMCG industries. They operate a fleet of 70 + modern curtain side trailers and their International client base include some of Europe's most prestigious companies.
Our client is now looking to recruit a Senior Freight Sales Executive at their office in St Albans and will be within the Sales & Business Development team.
Your role will involve identifying potential new business market sectors you will target relevant Logistics Managers/ Supply Chain managers to sell European logistic solutions.
Your role will involve new business sales canvassing- for volume export or import traffics. Preparing presentations and quotes for new business, visiting prospective clients in the UK and in Europe
You will progress chase, open credit accounts for new clients. Account management and development. Handling regular client visiting as well as helping to manage a small but dynamic Sales Team motivating existing staff by leading from the front.
In order to apply for this role you must have sales experience gained from working for a Freight Forwarding, Transport, Shipping, Parcels or Pallets company.
You will have both Telesales & Field Sales experience with a tenacious approach. Good communication Skills, Enthusiastic & Self Motivate with a professional and presentable approach.
