If you’re a Qualified Assessor and looking for a fresh challenge, we have opportunities to join us across the country as a freelance End Point Assessor, bringing your industry experience and passion for helping people to improve their confidence, prospects to work and further life opportunities.
With a long established reputation in carrying out assessments that tick all the boxes in terms of quality, service and customer care, Innovate Awarding are ready to work with employers to deliver the independent End Point Assessments that are now an essential element of any Apprenticeship.
Set to roll out in May, the new Apprenticeships Standards will improve and enhance the quality of Apprenticeships across the board.
The new guidance requires that employers engage an independent assessment organisation and, as a leading assessment business with an excellent reputation for quality, service and customer care, we’re one of the first to be registered with the Education and Skills Funding Agency.
That qualifies us to work in partnership with employers across a range of sectors to provide the tailored assessments that produce high quality, work ready Apprentices.
For you, it’s an opportunity to join a well-established and growing business at the forefront of a brand new initiative.
Working in the field and supported by our expert, professional team, you’ll work with Apprentices and their employers to plan End Point Assessments, agreeing a schedule and completing planned assessments. You’ll also mark in line with grading criteria and determine the overall grade for the Apprentice. Essential elements of the role also include carrying out all associated administration and keeping your knowledge of the occupational area up to date, along with maintaining your Continuous Professional Development.
Along with hands on, professional experience of the area you’ll be assessing, you’ll also have knowledge that matches the standard you’ll be assessing. And as an experienced, qualified Assessor, you’ll know how to conduct assessment processes including observations, professional discussions and reviewing learners’ showcase of evidence. If you also have good IT (MS Office), time management and communication skills, we’ll give you full training on our systems and support your Continuous Professional Development.
To be an end-point assessor for the adult care standards you must hold an IQA qualification as well.
You will require a driving licence, access to a car and your own IT equipment.
We’re ready for End Point Assessment. Are you ready to join an Innovative team?
