Tell me about the job...

As a Home Fraud Investigator your role will be to prevent financial loss and reputational damage that could arise from fraud and other forms of financial crime. We also ensure that we meet our regulatory expectations and legal obligations, and ensure that honest customers are protected and their experience is not impacted by counter fraud activities.

To investigate and resolve a caseload of suspected fraudulent claims in order to achieve a speedy and cost efficient conclusion, including the recovery of paid away claims. Resulting in minimal financial loss to the company. To assess fraud referrals from multiple sources including automated detection systems, intelligence alerts and escalated claims from various claim teams.

  • Completes thorough investigations for fraud referrals with support from Experts.
  • Demonstration of fraud investigation techniques
  • Manages legal data disclosure for Home claims (Section 29 DPA requests) in line with regulatory and legal environment with support from Experts.
  • Accreditation: Home - Level 3 in AVS (Secondary Digilog techniques) with support from Experts.

What are the working hours?

Our working week looks like…….Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, 37.5 hours per week (remote working will be required due to covid19).

Do I need any experience?

Our requirements for this role are minimum of 2 years’ experience with within either a similar role, Motor Claims handling or Home Claims. Have you time spent understanding the data protection act 1998 and the legal aspects of asset recoveries. Are you tenacious and curious for information?……able to gather information and analyse patterns and behaviours?… to work proficiently and collaboratively as part of a team?

At esure we deliver some of the industry’s best training, so we can give the right tools for you to fulfil your role. Dedicated class room 121’s to team group buzz sessions. Further development can be achieved should you wish to join the internal apprenticeship programme, which can offered your Cert CII (insurance) qualification.
