FP&A Analyst

Reed Accountancy in Colchester are delighted to be working on behalf of a global insurance brokerage looking to recruit a Senior FP&A Analyst. You will be responsible for the consolidation and provision of financial planning and analysis information for the UK operations. This will include variance analysis to budget, forecast and prior year.

You will provide support to the Head of FP&A and sector Business Partners, including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, acquisition analysis and other projects requested by senior management. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support ‘optimal’ business decision making.

Duties include;

• Production of monthly reporting on P&L, future cashflows and key balance sheet accounts (Accounts Receivable, Cash) including analysis on current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, EBITDA, staff compensation, capital expenditure and account receivable.
• Preparation of consolidation of forecasts to ensure early capture of any significant variances against budget, forecast and the prior year.
• Develop a robust and scalable business and MI model with the Head of FP&A
• Provide financial analysis as needed to the Head of FP&A including metrics, benchmarking and potential acquisitions.
• Assist in preparation of presentations to the UK Board of Directors and Senior Management team.
