The NHS Tayside Pharmacy Service provides opportunities for innovative working across healthcare boundaries. New models of working to deliver the future described in Achieving Excellence in Pharmaceutical Care are being developed. The organisational aim is to be “the best at getting better” and you will play an active part in this.

We have an excellent structured foundation training programme tailored to develop your clinical and technical skills, as well as meet your individual needs. The post is based in Dundee Hospitals (Ninewells Hospital, a large teaching hospital and Carseview Centre (Mental Health Services) where you will gain experience in a variety of specialities to prepare you for a range of challenging senior roles within the pharmacy profession. We are also keen to extend the training opportunities to different hospital sites and localities. There may be a need to work on different sites depending upon service demand. You will be required to participate in the weekend working, out of hours and public holiday rotas.

Applications are welcomed from hospital pharmacists, community pharmacists, and newly qualified pharmacists. Pharmacists will undertake the Foundation Hospital Pharmacist Vocational Training Scheme.
