We are working with a highly innovative business in Cheshire who are developing revolutionary means of printing, this role will be focussed on the formulation of flexo and gravure inks. This job will therefore be focussed on the bench activities leading to candidate formulations of inks being produced, and calls for someone with a strong background in this field.

What you’ll do

You will be working with a talented team of chemists who are focussed on the development of novel printing chemistry and your role will be to apply their discoveries to candidate formulations of inks, which will form the basis of their new product development and evaluation.

This role will therefore be spearheading the research and development from an applications and formulation standpoint. Our clients technology is heavily based in laser technology also so this role will involve using lasers in conjunction with the chemistry you develop.

This is likely to be a new part to the role for you as a candidate (unless experienced in laser printing), we will naturally be keen to provide more information on this when discussing your application.

Your background

We are specifically seeking candidates, experienced in formulation, from the Inks and Coatings industry.

Specifically, we seek someone with formulation experience in flexo and gravure methods. Ideally you will have a chemistry degree, or alternatively be qualified in a closely related area. We are keen to speak with candidates qualified from BSc up to PhD with regards this role.
